Live match nights
You don’t need Sky to watch the matches. You haven’t done for a while. The market has caught up. This is the honest guide to watching every sport in Ireland and the UK in 2026 — Premier League, GAA, UFC, boxing PPVs, Formula 1, the Six Nations, golf, racing — for less than the cost of a Sky Sports add-on.

Premier League and football
The Premier League broadcasts in Ireland and the UK across Sky Sports, TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport), and Amazon Prime Video (UK only). Most household setups need access to all three to see every match.
The legal options in Ireland 2026:
| Service | Premier League coverage |
|---|---|
| Cost | Sky Sports (subscription) |
| About 70% of matches | €40/mo on top of Sky base |
| TNT Sports | About 25% of matches |
| €30/mo | NOW TV Sports Pass |
| Same matches as Sky | €15-25/mo |
| Amazon Prime Video | UK-only Premier League slots |
| €5.99/mo + UK access | BingeBear |
All channels, every match
BingeBear has two one-off options: The Taster is €100 for 10 months, and The Owner is €300 for lifetime access. Neither plan renews automatically. NOW TV at €15-25/mo gives you the Sky portion only. Pick the one that fits.
For the deeper Premier League guide: Can an Irish home watch the Premier League without Sky? and Premier League run-in 2026, every match covered.
For the Champions League final: Champions League Final on May 30 in Ireland and Champions League Final 2026 on Virgin Media Two — the final is on Virgin Media Two free in Ireland.
GAA — hurling, football, all-Ireland
The GAA championship is split across three places in 2026:
- RTÉ One and RTÉ Two — the bigger fixtures, free on Saorview
- TG4 — the Irish-language coverage of all the championship fixtures, also free
- GAAGO — exclusive championship games not shown on RTÉ. About €100/yr for the season pass
For most households, free-to-air covers the marquee games. GAAGO covers the rest.
BingeBear carries RTÉ One/Two, TG4, plus Sky Sports GAA when it shows fixtures. We don’t carry GAAGO (different licensing model). If you’re a GAA-only household, the cheapest setup is Saorview + GAAGO at about €8/month-equivalent across the year.

UFC and boxing PPVs
UFC numbered cards (UFC 300, 301 etc.) air on TNT Sports Box Office in Ireland and the UK. €24.99 per card on PPV. About 12 numbered cards a year, so €300+ on PPV alone if you watch them all.
Plus the UFC Fight Nights on TNT Sports 1 and 2, and the prelims on the international UFC channels.
Boxing PPVs are the same structure — DAZN PPV, TNT Sports Box Office, Sky Sports Box Office — €20-25 each.
BingeBear has two one-off options: The Taster is €100 for 10 months, and The Owner is €300 for lifetime access. Neither plan renews automatically. No more €24.99-per-card maths. See Every UFC card in Ireland, no PPV charges and Boxing PPVs for one flat fee, not €25 a fight.
Six Nations and club rugby
The Six Nations in 2026 is split:
- Virgin Media One/Two — Ireland home matches, free in Ireland
- TG4 — Irish-language coverage
- ITV — England, Wales, Scotland home matches, free in UK
- Sky Sports — none of the Six Nations in 2026 (was on Sky historically; rights changed)
Club rugby — URC (United Rugby Championship), Champions Cup, Premiership Rugby:
- TG4 — selected URC games
- TNT Sports — Champions Cup, Premiership Rugby
- Premier Sports — URC and Pro 14 fixtures
BingeBear carries all of them. See Six Nations, URC and Champions Cup in one app.
Formula 1, MotoGP and racing
F1 is Sky Sports F1 in both Ireland and the UK in 2026. Channel 4 has some free coverage in the UK (highlights). RTÉ has occasional coverage in Ireland.
MotoGP is TNT Sports in Ireland and the UK.
WRC (rally) is on Red Bull TV (free) and TNT Sports.
BingeBear has two one-off options: The Taster is €100 for 10 months, and The Owner is €300 for lifetime access. Neither plan renews automatically. Cheapest legal option for every race in Ireland.
For MotoGP: The 2026 MotoGP calendar, live in Ireland covers it.
Golf — Irish Open, Masters, Open Championship
Sky Sports Golf carries most of the European Tour, the Open Championship, the Masters (selected coverage), and the Ryder Cup. About €30/month on top of a Sky base.
BingeBear has two one-off options: The Taster is €100 for 10 months, and The Owner is €300 for lifetime access. Neither plan renews automatically. For the Irish Open specifically: Irish Open Golf 2026, live from the first tee.
Horse racing — Cheltenham, Aintree, the Curragh
ITV Racing — free in the UK, accessible in Ireland through BingeBear and ITV X.
Racing TV (the subscription channel) — about €30/mo standalone. BingeBear carries it.
Sky Sports Racing — about €15/mo standalone, also included on BingeBear.
The big festivals (Cheltenham in March, Aintree in April, Royal Ascot in June, the Curragh through the summer, the November festivals) are all on a mix of ITV, RTÉ, Racing TV and Sky Sports Racing.
Full guide: Cheltenham, Aintree, the Curragh. A racing year.
Cricket, NFL, NBA, other US sport
Cricket: Sky Sports Cricket carries all international cricket including Test matches and the IPL. About €30/mo standalone. See Every test match summer 2026, live.
NFL: Sky Sports NFL plus various streaming services. Game Pass directly from NFL.
NBA: Sky Sports occasional, plus NBA League Pass directly (about €100/season).
MLB / NHL: minimal terrestrial coverage; need direct subscriptions.
BingeBear carries Sky Sports Cricket and the major NFL slots. For the deeper NFL/NBA-only viewer, direct subscriptions are sometimes cheaper than a full IPTV bill.
For the full American-channel picture: 5000 American channels for the price of one Sky bill.

Common questions
Can I watch every Premier League match?
Only with access to both Sky Sports and TNT Sports — which BingeBear brings into one access plan. NOW TV only covers the Sky portion. Sky alone misses the TNT-exclusive midweek games.
Is Premier League available on RTÉ?
Highlights only. No live Premier League on RTÉ in 2026.
Can I watch the Irish rugby home games for free?
Yes. Virgin Media One/Two carries them free in Ireland. Saorview included.
What about NFL Game Pass?
Direct from NFL is about $30-40/mo. BingeBear carries the major Sky Sports NFL slots but doesn’t include Game Pass. For NFL-only viewers, Game Pass direct is cheaper.
What time of day does buffering hit?
Saturday afternoon 3pm kickoff is the heaviest load. Sunday afternoon NFL is heavy. Friday/Saturday UFC nights are heavy. All major IPTV services see load spikes at those times. BingeBear sizes servers for them and WhatsApp-route customers to less-loaded servers in 30 seconds if it slows.
Is GAAGO worth it on top of BingeBear?
If you watch the championship matches GAAGO has exclusively (some quarter-finals, some hurling fixtures), yes. About €100/yr. The fixtures GAAGO holds change year to year — check the published schedule before paying.
Can I watch Premier League on my phone?
Yes. BingeBear runs on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets. a second-account or bundle option if your phone also needs BingeBear. See BingeBear on an iPhone, the proper way.
