Check your device before an IPTV trial.

Source review: 7 September 2026 · BingeBear

A TV brand is not a compatibility result. The model, operating system, region and available player app all matter. Use this check before buying another box or starting an installation.

This check stays in your browser. It does not submit your details or create a trial.

Your next step

Start with the device you own.

Select the device, check its operating system where relevant, and tell us whether the required player is available.

Why the exact model matters

Amazon's Fire TV operating-system table distinguishes Fire OS and Vega OS models. A familiar product name does not mean that the same installation method will work. Use the model and software information from your device, not the packaging of a similar-looking stick.

LG's app availability guidance says to check the TV model and region. For a Samsung, start with the model details in Samsung support and check the app store on the actual TV. An app search on someone else's television is not a test of yours.

Choose the existing guide for your device

These are BingeBear's published setup routes, not a list of models physically tested for this checker. If your model or app version differs, ask support before paying. You still need your own broadband and may need a separate player licence.

Before you call the setup a success

Open the channels and programmes you actually want. Check audio, subtitles where available, and your usual evening viewing. Keep the device on the connection you normally use. Our trial worksheet helps you record what worked and what did not.

Comparing a new box or a different plan? Include hardware and player costs alongside the TV subscription commitment. The cheapest advertised service is not useful if it does not meet your needs on your own device.
